The Department Of Culture, a non-partisan group of artists and social activists have organized a grassroots across Canada to oppose a Harper Govt majority in the 2008 Federal election.
In Toronto we’re holding a fundraising concert “This is NOT a Conservative Party” on Thursday, October 9th at the Phoenix, 410 Sherbourne (north of Carlton). We have an amazing lineup of musicians supporting us and would like to provide food for them in the green room.

Caterers are invited to contact me. We need to thank the musicians for their time and effort in support of the film and culture industries in Canada. Please support us with a donation of food for the musicians.

also, please check out the rest of our website; it has a wealth of info on what Harper intends to do to Canadian culture.
